The Way Forward is the very first exhibition taking place as part of Digital Stage, the new digital art programme curated by the Cutting Room hosted at Nottingham Playhouse.

Taking inspiration from Nottingham Playhouse’s production of Arnold Wesker’s Roots (23 May – 2 June) and this year’s centenary celebrations of the life and work of the father of computer science, Alan Turing, The Way Forward will examine the roots of modern technology.

The Space programme is a new free digital arts service developed by Arts Council England in partnership with the BBC that could help to transform the way people connect with, and experience, arts and culture.
