We have set up a ‘sharing circle’ on popular micro-lending website EcoModo.
The idea is that you can use this website to display equipment that you have which is available to loan to others. You can charge people to rent equipment (and take their money!) using this service and the website incorporates insurance from RSA. You can also post a ‘wanted’ advert to the digitallincs community.

There is a small fee for each item lent to cover insurance costs should it become lost, damaged or stolen. There is also a small refundable deposit per iteam at approximately 20% of its value.

Please note that you will need a PayPal account to borrow an item. This is a way of sending money online. Monies will only be taken at the end of a rental period and held in escrow during the interim.
