The Way Forward is the very first exhibition taking place as part of Digital Stage, the new digital art programme curated by the Cutting Room hosted at Nottingham Playhouse.

Taking inspiration from Nottingham Playhouse’s production of Arnold Wesker’s Roots (23 May – 2 June) and this year’s centenary celebrations of the life and work of the father of computer science, Alan Turing, The Way Forward will examine the roots of modern technology.

Calling all Artists: New ‘Culture Cloud’ initiative

Culture Cloud is a digital space for artists to upload their artwork onto a web portal where a team of recognised national and international curators and audiences will vote for the works they like. The most popular and intriguing will be exhibited at New Art Exchange in August 2012 in a unique exhibition that will see two of the finalists crowned the winners of CULTURE CLOUD.
